My Boss is Teething hit its 1-year anniversary on August 30. In this second year, I’m aiming to expand readership and broaden the blog’s following. While I love writing the content for this blog, I feel like I never have enough time to devote to proper marketing. So, I’m starting a search for a marketing manager for My Boss is Teething.

I’m looking for someone who knows how to market a website, garner new followers, and generally spread the word about My Boss is Teething (or is willing to learn!). Ideally, I’d love someone with experience (whether with their own blog or working for a larger web company), but if interested, please apply even if you have never done website marketing before. Mostly, I want someone who will quickly learn what I’m looking for and who works well with me.

Just to set expectations, this would be a very part-time job (though an eager marketing manager may find ways to expand their role). I’m estimating it would take about 4 hours a week to be done properly, but again, there’s definitely room for expansion of that. This will be a paid position. I have some idea of how I’d like payment to work (and how much to pay), but I’m happy to discuss it in more detail with anyone who’s interested.

My family and I are moving into our new house this week, so My Boss is Teething will be taking a brief hiatus. Daily posts will resume on Tuesday.

OK, time for me to get back to painting!

This month has been so busy! We bought a house (well, we close in about a week), and my husband and I have been doing a million and one things to get everything ready for the big move. Poor Pudge has been such a trooper–he’s been dragged to furniture stores, Home Depot, and he’s had to play by himself on more than one occasion while Mommy packs.

At this point, we are more than ready to just be living in our new home! Unfortunately, my mind has been cluttered with thoughts about the house, and My Boss is Teething is starting to pay the price. I’m running out of creative blog topic ideas in the midst of the chaos that is my life right now. So, I figured that now is the perfect time to ask you, my insightful blog readers, what topics you’d like to see on this blog.

What issues have you been struggling with? Any good parenting tips? Have you heard any important baby-related news stories lately?

I figure it’s about time to jazz up My Boss is Teething. While I like writing blog posts myself, I think it could be fun to hear from some new voices. If anyone out there would be interested in writing a guest post for My Boss is Teething, please let me know! Many of you have sent me great blog topic ideas (which I always appreciate!), so I thought some people may be interested in actually writing about their topic of interest, too.
